<p><strong>What’s the best and worst think about being a NBA dancer?</strong><br /><br />The best thing about being a NBA dancer is that I am living my dream. I go to work happy, leave work happy, go to sleep happy, and I wake up the next morning still happy because I get to do it all over again.  he worst thing about being a NBA dancer is the fact that I can't do this for the rest of my life. At some point, I'll have to walk away from one of the best experiences of my life... :(<br /><br /><strong>What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?</strong><br /><br />The craziest thing? I'm not sure a dude has ever done anything crazy to hit on me. I would say a dude has used typical ways of hitting on me, but to be honest, I really don't pay attention.<br /><br /><strong>What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?</strong><br /><br />Nightlife for me is to put in a movie, set a fire, and open a bottle of red wine.  Sometimes I feel like I'm going, going, going, so I love to just relax and stay home with my dog. It may sound boring to some, but I lived the college life in Chico for years. Nightlife there meant going out every night, so I had my share of craziness.<br /><br /><strong>Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />The Sacramento Kings are the best to cheer for because all of the players are determined, and have such an amazing love for the game. When they play, you can just feel and see the passion pouring out of them.<br /><strong><br />Who is your all time favorite NBA player, why?</strong><br /><br />My all-time favorite NBA player is Vlade Divac. Not only was he an amazing player, but he also did a lot of humanitarian work. I will be the first in my immediate family to receive a college education, and that will be a major accomplishment for me.<br /><strong><br />What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?</strong><br /><br />One guy actually chased me down on a crowded freeway to get my attention and ask for my number. Unfortunately for him, I wasn't interested…that was a little weird to me.<br /><br /><strong>When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?</strong><br /><br />When I am not dancing, you can either find me at school, at the dance studio, or hanging out with my friends.<br /><br /><strong>Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />My team is the best to cheer for because they are still a young team. It's exciting to watch them continue to grow and develop the chemistry that will soon get them to the top.<br /><br /><strong>Who is your all time favorite NBA player, why?</strong><br /><br />My all-time favorite basketball player is Magic Johnson, hands down. Hopefully one day I'll make it in the film industry, incorporating dancing and singing.<br /><br /><strong>Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?</strong><br /><br />I"m a nerd at heart, so obviously I need another nerd who understands me.<br /><br /><strong>When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?</strong><br /><br />When I'm not dancing, I am usually at school, since I am a full-time student, doing homework or at the gym.<br /><br /><strong>Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />The Sacramento Kings are the best team to dance for because the players all work extremely hard. They are a young team that has the potential to be a strong winning team. I plan on obtaining my teaching credential and teaching high school math and dance classes.<br /><br /><strong>What’s the worst dance injury you’ve ever had?</strong><br /><br />I have dislocated my knee three times. Unfortunately, the last time it dislocated I broke by patella bone. I have had two surgeries since, and expect another in about 3 years.<br /><br /><strong>What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?</strong><br /><br />I once had a guy that was so interested in me that he took dance classes just to get to know me more.<br /><strong><br />Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />The Sacramento Kings have a way of bringing Sacramentens together. It’s more than basketball, it’s the sense of belonging to a winning community. Even if the Kings aren't winning, they always hold their head high and represent a positive atmosphere for Sacramento, and their loyal fans.<br /><strong><br />Who is your all time favorite NBA player, why?</strong><br /><br />I appreciate and like Bobby Jackson. I believe he had it all. I can’t wait for my next chance to get on the court and perform for the amazing fans of Sacramento. I love dancing, and am so fortunate to be able to make a career out of the thing that makes me most happy. The worst thing about being a NBA dancer is the hardcore workouts we do before every practice. No pain, no gain though; it’s all worth it.<br /><br /><strong>Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?</strong><br /><br />As much as I like an intelligent man, I would have to say jocks are more my type. I need a man that can keep up with me, and someone that enjoys sports as much as I do.<br /><strong><br />What’s the worst dance injury you’ve ever had?</strong><br /><br />The worst dance injury I've ever had was a broken pinkie toe. I was out from dance for 6 months waiting for it to heal. The littlest injury kept me from what I love to do and I was so sad watching others dance. FYI, don’t turn on carpet without socks on!<br /><br /><strong>Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />My team is the best to dance for because there are no fans that can compare to the Sacramento Kings fans. I have never felt more love and appreciation for what I do until I am on the court or walking around Arco Arena.<br /><br /><strong>Who is your all time favorite NBA player, why?</strong><br /><br />My all-time favorite NBA player is Michael Jordan because he was the best to ever play the game. I really like watching LeBron James play now that Michael is retired. My next aspirations are to pursue my passion of dancing and performing. I'd love to tour or become more involved with the theater arts. I've also become involved in the Fitness Industry, completing my 3rd competition this November, so whatever my future entails, I know I'll continue to be active and fit! I'm just taking life day by day for now.<br /><br /><strong>Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?</strong><br /><br />I would have to say Eliza Dushku from the original <em>Bring it On</em> or Missy Peregrym from the <em>Stick It</em> movie. Both actresses are sassy with a bold witted charm which I find to be very sexy for a woman to possess. A strong mind and body is both admirable and inspirational to watch.<br /><br /><strong>What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?</strong><br /><br />The nightlife for me is...hmm? (haha) I'd prefer to stay at home with my comfy sweats on, watching a good movie, cuddled up to somebody warm! But on occasion I'll get dressed up with my good shoes and get together with my girls for a nice night out on the town. Think of it as an episode with Sarah Jessica Parker of <em>Sex and the City</em>, out with her 'clan,' but the Sacramento version!<br /><br /><strong>Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />Why are the Kings the best team to cheer for? Hello?! Have you ever been to a sellout game at Arco? Have you every been able to experience the Arco Thunder? It's amazing here! I couldn't see myself being anywhere else but dancing here. We've had amazing opportunities that I know only the Kings Dancers have experienced. Plus my loyalty will always be for the Kings. I've been with them for 6 years, so they're unofficially my family! Through the good times and bad, I've never stopped believing in them, as they have never stopped believing in me! My team is the best because I've fallen in love with my job!<br /><strong><br />Who is your all time favorite NBA player, why?</strong><br /><br />I don't really have a favorite NBA player. Michael Jordan was a legend, but I believe there's a legendary story within each one of our guys as well. We have a great team with Kevin Martin, Tyreke Evans, Sean May, Jason Thompson, Omri Casspi, Spencer Hawes, Donte Green. The list goes on and on. Their loyalty and support is something that you don’t get from many other organizations. The worst aspect of being a NBA dancer is being stereotyped for qualities other than being talented, intelligent, passionate and hard-working dancers.<br /><br /><strong>What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?</strong><br /><br />In fifth grade, I was in front of the line as my class walked to lunch. A boy classmate of mine tripped me and I fell and scraped me knee. When I stood up the boy told me I looked sexy when I’m mad. It was a pretty brave remark after embarrassing me in front of my class, but nothing has topped it since.<br /><strong><br />When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?</strong><br /><br />When I’m not dancing, I’m finding new recipes to cook, or planning my next adventure abroad.<br /><br /><strong>Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />The Kings are the best team in the NBA to cheer for because we have a young, dedicated, and hard-working team, and Kings fans support the team and dance team 110 percent.<br /><strong><br />Who is your all-time favorite player? Why?</strong><br /><br />Kevin Garnett is my all-time favorite player because he donates a lot of time, effort and money to charity without publicity. This is my 9th season as a Sacramento Kings Dancer, and my 2nd season as the Dance Team Manager. I’ve had the honor of escalating in the company to this position, which has been an incredible transition. I have yet to discover what the future holds for me next!<br /><br /><strong>Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?</strong><br /><br />Carmen Electra in <em>Starsky and Hutch</em>. When is Carmen Electra not hot?<br /><br /><strong>What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?</strong><br /><br />I did my fair share of enjoying the nightlife while I was in college, so usually you can find me relaxing at home when we happen to get a night off. If you ever do catch ‘College Jenn’ out and about, <em>look out</em>, because it definitely will be a good time! ;)<br /><br /><strong>Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />You couldn’t ask for a better place to perform. I’m hoping to move to Italy on a scholarship for a Masters, while continuing to work in the industry and start my own line and company. I’m also the designer for our SKD Couture t-shirt line that’s sold in our Team Store.<br /><br /><strong>Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?</strong><br /><br />Nerd! Well, an athletic nerd actually. I like a guy who takes care of himself, but also that doesn’t take himself too seriously. I love the kind of guy that has depth and sincerity, and he <em>has</em> to make me laugh!<br /><br /><strong>When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?</strong><br /><br />I’m either at the gym, school, work, or home. I do try and take road trips in my Wrangler, especially when it’s nice out. I’ll drive up to Tahoe or Napa, somewhere quiet to decompress.<br /><strong><br />Why is your team the best to cheer for?</strong><br /><br />Our fans are the best in the NBA! I love getting the crowd pumped up and they give that energy right back to you. There’s nothing like the sound of “Arco Thunder”.<br /><strong><br />Who is your all time favorite NBA player, why?</strong><br /><br />Wilt Chamberlain is one of the greatest ever to play in the league, and I also like Michael Jordan.
